PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Albania, like the rest of Balkan countries, presented its candidature for becoming member of European Union. Thus, this country is adopting and changing its legislation and administration in order to fulfil the European requirements. The negotiations between the two parts are continuing and Albania is preparing its membership. Conversely, it should be avoided that either Russia or China will extend their economic and political influence on the Balkans.
With the support of CISU, the FIC, in cooperation with the Albanian NGO DEV-AID and 10 youth organizations, is implementing a project in which young people are trained by the Albanian partners to participate actively in the debate and preparation of Albania for EU membership.
